3/3/2010 - Join the Smoke-Free Housing Coalition of Maine for a six-part presentation series on smoke-free policy adoption in multi-unit residential housing. The series takes the audience from the foundations of smoke-free policy adoption, financial and health benefits of going smoke-free, legality and further justification of policy implementation, to drafting policy language and enforcing an existing policy. Later in the series, we will explore the language and advocacy messages that have been successful in the coalition's efforts to educate tenants, landlords and housing authorities on the benefits and reasons for smoke-free policy adoption. All presentations are held on Thursdays, from 2:30-3:30pm and are designed so individuals may pick and choose the areas with which they want or need more information.
